Naturopath | Hashimoto & Autoimmune Support
I’m Meryll Bettahar De Vos, a naturopath specialized in Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and autoimmune conditions.
Â

I support women who want to better understand their body, manage their symptoms, and feel more balanced through a natural, personalized approach.
A naturopath takes a holistic approach to health, focusing on supporting the body as a whole rather than addressing symptoms alone.

This includes nutrition, lifestyle, and natural tools to help you better understand your body and support its natural balance.
What is a Naturopath?
My Background
✔︎ Bachelor in Naturopathy (2200+ hours)
   Institut Hildegardien – FENA accredited

✔︎ Certified Essential Oil Specialist
✔︎ Specialized in Herbal & Plant-Based Support
✔︎ Additional training in autoimmune conditions
My Story
For years, I experienced symptoms I didn’t fully understand — fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, weight changes, anxiety.

Until I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s.

While working with doctors to manage my condition, I also felt the need to go deeper — to understand the autoimmune aspect and explore how I could support my body in a more natural way.

At the time, I was working as a music school director.
After my diagnosis, I chose to step back and focus on my health and understanding what my body truly needed.

What started as a personal search gradually became a deeper commitment.

Over time, this journey led me to study naturopathy and specialize in natural approaches to autoimmune health.
What Changed
I gradually worked on different aspects of my life, including my nutrition, lifestyle, environment, stress management, and overall well-being, while incorporating natural approaches tailored to my individual needs, including carefully selected herbs and dietary supplements.

These changes helped me better manage my symptoms, regain more energy, and feel capable of enjoying the things that mattered to me again.

I experienced greater mental clarity, more emotional balance, and a healthier relationship with my body. Over the course of two years, I also went from 75 kg (165 lbs) to 54 kg (119 lbs).

Today, my Hashimoto's thyroiditis is in remission — an ongoing journey rather than a destination. I continue to care for my body and overall well-being every day, knowing that this journey requires ongoing attention.
Why I Do This Work
Living with Hashimoto’s showed me how much it can impact daily life — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Â
I know what it feels like to feel exhausted without clear answers, , and to try to make sense of symptoms that don’t always seem connected.

That’s why I support women going through similar challenges — so they feel understood, supported, and guided.

Because Hashimoto’s doesn’t just affect your body — it impacts your energy, your mood, your confidence, and how you show up in your daily life.

And I believe that with the right support, it’s possible to better understand your body, feel more in control, and move toward a more balanced way of living.
